Data preference settings are required while you’re migrating your Oberlo data to an existing DSers account in case of data conflicts between your Oberlo and DSers accounts.

Shopify product A exists on both DSers and Oberlo.
A is mapped to supplier 1 on Oberlo A is mapped to supplier 2 on DSers 1 is different from 2 Before you migrate Oberlo data to DSers, you will need to let DSers know, you want to keep the mapping to 1 or 2.

Order conflict
Shopify order 1 with customer info N is synced to both DSers and Oberlo. You modified customer info to M on DSers You keep the customer info to N on Oberlo M is different from N Before you migrate Oberlo data to DSers, you will need to let DSers know, you want to keep customer information as M or N.

Setting conflict

What Can I Do with the Conflict
Generally speaking, you have 2 ways to deal with the potential conflict.
Method 1
Clear data in DSers account and then migrate Oberlo data. Your DSers data will be lost if you select this. But there will not be any conflicts generated.
Method 2
Merge data from DSers and Oberlo accounts. Data in both of the accounts will be kept. But you will need to let DSers know which data you prefer to keep if there is data conflict generated, data from DSers or Oberlo, as the page below shows.
