This tutorial covers the AI Description Generator inside DSers’ product editor. You’ll learn how to generate, translate, and optimize product descriptions — specifically for the Description tab (Overview & Specification sections).

How to Generate an AI Description from Product Specs

Use this when you want to turn plain product details into a benefit-driven, ready-to-use description.

Step 1: Go to Import List → Edit Product

• Navigate to Import List
• Click Edit Product on any product
• Open the Description tab

Step 2: Open the AI Tool

• Click the AI button inside the Description tab
• A popup will appear with two functions:
• AI Product Description Optimization (default view)
• AI Translation

Step 3: Enter Your Product Info

⚠️ If the “keywords” field is empty, the Generate button will not work.

Step 4: Generate & Apply

• Click AI Generation
• Once generated, you can manually edit the result (max 1000 characters)
• Click Apply → the AI content is added below the existing specification text in the Description tab

AI Translation for Descriptions

Use this when you already have a good description but need it in another language.

How it works (same popup, different mode)

• Switch function from Optimization → Translation
• Source language = English only
• Choose target language from 14 options (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Thai, Korean, Hebrew, Indonesian, Italian, Malay, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Vietnamese)
• Select which part to translate:
• Specification
• Overview

Click Apply → the translated content overwrites the selected module (Spec or Overview).

AI Usage & Limits

• Each AI generation consumes 1 credit
• If credits run out → popup asks you to purchase an AI resource pack or upgrade your plan
• Staff accounts: Can use AI, but cannot subscribe. Usage is shared with the main account.
