How can I set up WhatsApp for AI notifications?

Introduction: Stay Updated with Notifications on WhatsApp

DSers AI Agent can send notifications to your WhatsApp. You can receive task status, balance alerts, and plan changes on your phone in real time.
After connecting, you can also launch DSers AI Agent from WhatsApp to handle simple tasks like viewing data.

Step-by-Step Guide: Connect Your WhatsApp Account

Operation Path

Go to DSers AI Agent → Plugin → Apps → Notification Channel. Find the WhatsApp card and click Install.

Detailed Installation Process

1. Trigger Installation

• Click the Install button. A Connect WhatsApp pop-up will appear.

1. Enter Your Information

• Select your Country/Region Code.
• Enter the WhatsApp phone number you want to bind.

1. Verify and connect

• Click Send code, then enter the verification code you receive on WhatsApp.
• Click Connect. Once verified, the connection is complete.

Confirmation of Success

• You will see a message: "WhatsApp connected successfully."
• Your masked phone number (e.g., +1 85****234) will appear as the resource name to protect your privacy.

Important Note

• One-to-One Binding: Each DSers account can bind only one WhatsApp account in the Notification Channel.

Troubleshooting: Common Connection Issues

• Did not receive the verification code?
• Double-check that your phone number is correct.
• Click Resend to get a new code.
• Ensure you are logged in to WhatsApp on your main device to check verification code.
• Account conflict errors:
• If the WhatsApp account is already linked to your current DSers account, you will see a message saying "Account already connected." No duplicate connection is created.
• If the WhatsApp account is already linked to another DSers account, the system will block the binding. Please use a different account or unbind it from the original DSers account first.
• Connection timeout or failure:
• If the authorization window times out or the connection fails, simply restart the installation process from the beginning.

How to Disconnect WhatsApp Notifications

If you want to stop receiving messages from DSers on WhatsApp:

1. Go to DSers AI Agent → Plugin → Apps → Notification Channel.
2. On the WhatsApp card, click Manage.
3. Select Remove connection.

After disconnecting, DSers will no longer send notifications to your WhatsApp. You will also not be able to start DSers AI tasks from WhatsApp.
