Why can’t I select a shipping method

When you see an error notification like this " There is no shipping method applied to this order, please select manually. Or you can go to Settings--Shipping to set up your favorite shipping method, then DSers will select it automatically" on your Order card when you process orders in DSers, it means that you need to choose a shipping method for your orders.

However, there are some situation where you can't select a shipping method. Check below to learn a couple of reasons why you can’t select a shipping method for a specific order when you process orders and how you can fix it.

Why can’t I select a shipping method

Reason 1: Country not supported

Sometimes, it’s possible that a specific supplier will not ship the product to some countries.

You can go to the AliExpress product detail page and click the Ships to section to check if the product supports your wanted destination country.

Solution: In the case that the product does not support your wanted country, you will need to find another supplier on AliExpress that sells a similar product and delivers to the shipping destination you desire.

Reason 2: Quantity issue

Sometimes, it’s possible that a specific supplier will not ship more than 1 or 2 products to some countries.

You can go to the AliExpress product detail page and change the Quantity from 1 to 2 or more to check if the supplier supports multiple products to ship to your customer. For example, when you change the quantity to 2 for a product, it may display “Can not deliver”.

Solution: In this case, you will need to find another supplier on AliExpress that sells a similar product and delivers multiple products.

Reason 3: Unavailable shipping method

If you have set up the shipping settings and applied them to your product in advance, your order information may not be eligible for those settings.

For example, when you set up product-specific shipping, you may assign a specific shipping method to your product but your order supplier does not support that shipping method.

This is the same true of the Advanced shipping settings. If you want your order tracking information to be available when you use this shipping setting, your supplier may not be able to meet this requirement.

Solution: Adjust your current shipping settings or choose another supplier that meets your needs.

How to avoid this

If you want to avoid this kind of situation, you will need to check more carefully on AliExpress before importing the product.

For instance, select different countries to see whether the supplier supports delivering to those locations where the majority of your customers come from or not. Or add more quantity to find out if the supplier is going to deliver multiple products in a single order.
