Mapping Explained
Note
In dropshipping, what your customer sees in your store doesn't always match what your supplier calls the same product. Your store sells a "Blue Cotton T-Shirt" — but your supplier lists it as "T-Shirt, Blue, 100% Cotton, Size M".
Mapping is how DSers translates between your store and your suppliers. It tells DSers: "When a customer buys this product from me, order that specific product from this specific supplier."
BOGO and Bundle are now part of Advanced Mapping. Basic and Advanced are mutually exclusive for a given product.

Everything you need to know about mapping and how it connects your store to your suppliers.
Mapping creates a link between what customers select in your store and what your supplier calls that product. It tells DSers exactly which supplier SKU to order when a customer buys from you—so the right product gets shipped every time without manual data entry.
Confirm your store variants (e.g., color, size) are clearly named so they match supplier options more easily. DSers creates mapping automatically for products pushed from supported platforms like AliExpress, 1688, Alibaba.com, and Agent—but review it if supplier option names change.
When a customer places an order, DSers reads your mapping rules, identifies the correct supplier and variant, and prepares the order for placement. You only need to place and pay—DSers handles the rest, including tracking sync to your store.
Basic Mapping matches by option name (e.g., "Large" → "Large")—best for beginners and simple products. Advanced Mapping matches by SKU and ship-to country, supporting up to 10 suppliers per variant, BOGO, Bundles, and multi-country routing.
Simply update the Mapping—no need to change anything in your store. You can search for similar suppliers using DSers' Supplier Optimizer, and Automated Mapping can help set up the new mapping more efficiently.
No. They are mutually exclusive for a given product—you choose one mode per product. If you need multi-supplier, BOGO, or country routing, choose Advanced Mapping. For simple setups, Basic Mapping is faster and easier.
