Issues & Solutions

Below are common issues you might encounter before and during your migration and their corresponding solutions. To successfully migrate your Oberlo data to DSers, please make sure that you DON’T remove or uninstall DSers from your Shopify account during the migration process.

Error initiating migration

Request timed out

The request timed out, please refresh the page or reauthorize from Oberlo. If you have any questions, please contact DSers support. 

Refresh the current page or reauthorize your migration from Oberlo. If there is still a problem, you can click on “Contact Support” to ask for help.

Shopify authorization failure, DSers is uninstalled or Shopify store is unavailable

Please ensure that your Shopify store is ready and has authorized DSers.

Click on “CONTINUE MIGRATION” and you will be redirected to the Shopify store.  For Shopify authorization failure or uninstalled DSers, you need to reauthorize DSers. For unavailable Shopify stores, check whether or not your store is closed or deactivated and reopen it. Then you can go back to the migration page to click on “CONTINUE MIGRATION” again.

Multiple Oberlo accounts migration conflict

Wait until the current migration is completed

An account for Oberlo migration already exists. Please wait for this account to be migrated.

You can choose another DSers account to migrate to.

Or you can wait until the current migration is finished and initiate a second migration to the same DSers account. 

Oberlo API exception

Access to Oberlo failed. Please contact the customer service.

Wait until Oberlo API is working well and click “TRY AGAIN”.

DSers server/API exception

Migration exception, please contact DSers support to resolve this issue.

Click on “CONTACT DSers SUPPORT” to ask for assistance.

DSers server upgrade

The service is being upgraded, please try again later. If you have any questions, please contact DSers support.

Wait until the server upgrade finishes. For any questions, click on “CONTACT DSers SUPPORT”.

Error starting migration

A task is being performed on the current account. Please try again later.

Wait until the task is completed and then click on “START MIGRATION”.

During Migration

Shopify authorization failure, DSers is uninstalled or Shopify store is unavailable

Please ensure that your Shopify store is ready and has authorized DSers.

Click on “CONTINUE MIGRATION”, you will be redirected to the Shopify store authorization page and you can reauthorize DSers. Then return to the migration page to click “CONTINUE MIGRATION” again.

Oberlo API exception

Access to Oberlo failed. Please contact the customer service.

Wait until Oberlo API is working well and click “TRY AGAIN”.

Multiple Oberlo accounts migration conflict

Wait until the current migration is completed

An account for Oberlo migration already exists. Please wait for this account to be migrated.

You can either choose another DSers account to migrate to or you can wait until the current migration is finished and initiate a second migration to the same DSers account. 

Migration data exception

Some problems with the data occurred during the migration process. Click the "Try Again" button to retry, or click "Contact Customer Service" to contact us.

Click on “TRY AGAIN” to retry. If the migration can’t still be recovered, you can click “Contact Customer Service” to troubleshoot the issue.

DSers server/API exception

Migration exception, please contact DSers support to resolve this issue.

Click on “CONTACT DSers SUPPORT” to ask for help.

DSers server upgrade

The service is being upgraded, please try again later. If you have any questions, please contact DSers support.

Wait until the server upgrade finishes. For any questions, click on “CONTACT DSers SUPPORT”.
