Synchronize store order notes

Synchronize store order notes feature is a setting that allows you to achieve automatic notes synchronization from your store to DSers to suppliers.

When your customers have special needs for an order or an item in an order, they will leave notes when they check out in your store. For this reason, you can take advantage of the DSers feature to synchronize the notes you receive from customers and send them with the orders to your suppliers automatically.

How to synchronize customer notes for an order

By default, there is not a place for your customers to add notes when checkout. You can check this guide to manually add the Cart notes section. This way, your customers can add notes in the Order special instructions box on the Shopify cart page when they checkout.

You can check customer notes in the Notes section of the order detail page and also edit it if necessary. Besides your customer, you can add notes to the order on your own.

Then you can activate the Notes synchronization feature in DSers.
  1. Login to DSers > dsers-settings Settings > General Setting > Synchronize to DSers.
  2. In the Synchronize store order notes section, the button is off by default, turn on dsers-status-off to activate the feature.

If your customer wants to add an image in the notes: You can ask your customer to provide the link of the image when they checkout. This way DSers will automatically synchronize the link from your store to your suppliers along with orders.

How to synchronize customization notes for single items in an order

Synchronize Shopify order customization information feature is a setting that enables you to activate Shopify order customization information automatic synchronization from your store to suppliers.

This feature is only available for DSers paid users who are selling on Shopify.

It is possible that you have installed an app or plugin, like Zepto Product Personalizer, for customers who have the need to customize their purchases for POD purposes. As this kind of app allows customers to leave notes for each specific item included in a Shopify order, DSers can help you synchronize those notes separately for each item if you are on a paid plan.

  1. Login to DSers > dsers-settings Settings > General Setting > Synchronize to DSers.
  2. In the Synchronize Shopify order customization information part, the button is off by default. Turn on dsers-status-off to enable the feature.

The image in the customizatioin notes will be converted to an image URL automatically once synced to DSers.

Where to check the notes on different platforms

When your customer orders are synchronized to DSers, you can check the customer notes on the Open Orders page. Once you place them to AliExpress, you can also check the notes in AliExpress.

For agency users, the notes will appear on the Orders page in your agency’s currently-used ERP (now Dianxiaomi and Mabang only).
